What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and an optional display name. We also store your game progress, stats, saved progressions, and practice session data so you can pick up where you left off across devices.

If you use GuitarWeaver without an account, all data stays in your browser's local storage.

Cookies

GuitarWeaver uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is strictly necessary for authentication and does not track you. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the GuitarWeaver service, displaying your stats, tracking your progress, and syncing your saved content. We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third party advertisers or data brokers.

Third-party services

We use trusted, industry‑standard cloud hosting, content delivery, and authentication providers to run GuitarWeaver. These providers process your IP address and request information on our behalf when you use the app. Your email address and session tokens are also processed by our authentication and database hosting provider to log you in and sync your saved content.

Your rights

• Delete your account - You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
• Clear local data - You can clear all locally stored data (preferences, cached files) from the Profile page without affecting your account.
• Export your data - If you need a copy of your data, contact us and we'll provide it.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all data is removed immediately from our database. We do not keep backups of deleted accounts.
